Monday 8 - Friday 14 February 2016
The Tories are savagely cutting back on healthcare and education. Our public services are under attack and our futures are at risk too.
Join the fight back – take part in our national week of action from Monday 8th – Sunday 14th February.
Check out the facebook event here.
We believe that our healthcare and education systems should be free for all and properly funded.
- Defend the NHS: #BursaryOrBust save the NHS bursary and give our junior doctors a fair contract
- Free education: stop cutting maintenance grants, no to cuts, fees and student debt
From slashing student nurse bursaries and attacking junior doctors to scrapping maintenance grants and implementing savage cuts to further and higher education – the Tories are attacking our vital public services.
It’s time to unite and fight back. We have seen inspiring movements erupt defend our NHS and our education system – and this week of action seeks to build on this and build momentum for our struggles.
Join the national week of action from Monday 8 – Sunday 14 February
We encourage Students’ Unions, national and local anti-cuts student groups and students from across the country to take part in this national week of action to send a clear message to the government.
We want to see campus protests, rallies, banner drops, public meetings, film showings, stalls, creative stunts, petitioning, postering, leafleting and much more!
We to organise something for the week of action on your campus? Drop us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know.
We will be providing help and advice on how to take part as well as model resources including leaflets and posters – watch this space.
